Line for the production of corrugated cardboard and cardboard boxes.

Technology and Production Process

The corrugated board and carton production line is a complex system of equipment designed to produce packaging materials that are widely used in industries ranging from food to logistics. The production process includes several key steps, ensuring high quality and productivity.

Manufacturing process:

The process begins with the creation of corrugated cardboard, which is the basis for corrugated boxes. Corrugated cardboard consists of several layers: outer flat layers and an inner layer with a wavy texture. This is achieved by feeding cardboard between patterned heated rollers.

Adhesive Application and Shirring: After shirring, one of the outer layers is covered with adhesive. Then a second flat layer is applied to it. These two layers are pressed against each other and run through the corrugating rolls to create a wavy inner layer. Glue serves to strengthen the structure of the corrugated cardboard.

Setting and Cutting: The finished corrugated board is moved to the setting where it can be cut into different sizes and shapes using specialized knives and templates. This allows you to create a variety of components for the subsequent assembly of boxes.

Assembly of Cardboard Boxes: The manufactured corrugated board components are assembled into cardboard boxes. The assembly may involve gluing or fixing different parts of the box, depending on its design. Each stage of assembly requires attention to detail and precision to ensure the strength and reliability of the final product.

Line performance:

Lines for the production of corrugated cardboard and cardboard boxes exist with different capacities depending on the model and specifications. Productivity can range from a few hundred to several thousand pieces per hour. The choice of a particular line depends on the volume of production, quality requirements and types of products.

We will help you to find the best solution for your future factory. Please, contact us and we will discuss the details and will design the production line for you. We also have used production lines made in Germany and other European countries.
